Plum In The Middle of Summer

 

Yesterday this delictable piece of fruit which was part of my lunch caught my eye.  It was so perfect looking.  It tasted perfect, too.

I love summer.

  1. Oh good, glad to hear that! Yes, watermelon is quite refreshing on a hot day. Unfortunately the ones we had were all rotten on the inside when my husband went to cut them open. Bummer.

  2. I agree, the watermelon is quite refreshing. My mouth is doing much better now that the second medication has kicked in and helped my mouth heal!

  3. I'm glad to hear that you are on the mend! 🙂 The good thing about watermelon is that it isn't very acidic like citrus would be. I would think that may bother your mouth a bit more.

  4. Patsy sliced up a delicious watermelon today. I am so happy that I was able to eat it. The medicine finally kicked in so that my mouth is healing. I woud stare longingly at the fruit I was missing. I adore the fruit in the summer!!

  5. Yes, me too! My husband just called a few minutes ago to let me know he brought home a few watermelons. This is what I love most about summer. I am actually excited to go home after work have nothing to do but enjoy watermelon. It's the simple stuff always. 🙂

  8. The shape was so perfect that I had to take a picture of it. It was actually resting on my blue mouse pad. I thought that would be a good background.
