  1. Can you believe it’s less than a month away?? We had our first fall-like day today, so it doesn’t seem like it’s already this late.

These guys look ready to celebrate!!!

    • Its right around the corner. Crazy how fast time goes by!

We’ve also had a few Fall-like days but today is in the low 90s. Whew!

They sure do look ready don’t they?

  2. aughhh this picture is soooooooo goble goble cute! tottaly awwwwwwwsome and the cutes one of all!

  3. Thanksgiving is one of those strange times of the year where I get a couple of days off work and don’t really know what to do with them. 🙂

One year I did the whole turkey thing for just the manservant and I and we had leftovers for a month! Last year I was flying to Australia on Thanksgiving Day and I was surprised that United didn’t serve turkey.

A lot of years the manservant has been away and I’ve been invited to have dinner with friends which has been really nice.

    • I can see where that might seem a little strange. My Grandmother was from Canada and their Thanksgiving is in October.

We usually end up with a ton of leftovers, too. While we like to have some for a few days, we are all turkey’d out afterwards.

Its always nice when someone else does the cooking, isn’t it? 🙂

  4. Actually, I have 32 days till Thanksgiving. Neenerneener… I have to WORK Thanksgiving afternoon, and I’m pretty pissed about it, thankyouverymuch, so we’re having it the following Sunday.

  5. LOL! It reminds me that there’s only 7 weeks of school left. *sigh of contentment*

    • I know, huh? My office closes Thursday and Friday. We also have a week off between New Years and Christmas. I am counting down the days as I’m sure it will be my only time off for the rest of the year.

  6. What a picture!! Wow, 29 days and I will get to see my college age son 😀 Yah!! I better start working on the menu. (my mother would have the menu worked out months ahead of time….so funny). I bet there are some great stories about animals getting into food, don’t you!

    • So many countdowns until the holidays! And so many special reasons. 🙂

This pic was sent by a co-worker in another state. She provides me with some really cute animal pics from time to time. I often think of that family in ‘A Christmas Story’ where the Mom makes the turkey and the next door neighbors dogs come in the door in a rampage and devour the turkey. LOL. Did you ever see that one? The neighbors were named the Bumpus’.
